WELCOME TO OAKWOOD PSYCHOLOGY SERVICES
Stockport NHS
Adult Eating Disorder Service
We are a not-for-profit social enterprise, providing evidence-based psychological therapies.
Our service is for people aged 18+ living and/or registered with a GP within the Borough of Stockport (SK1 – SK8).

REFERRALS
Anyone of any gender, age, ethnicity, culture, race, sexual orientation, religion, or background can have an eating disorder. Unfortunately, the stereotype that eating disorders mostly occur in thin, white cisgendered women creates a barrier for everyone needing support for an eating disorder.
We at Oakwood Psychology Services recognise that there are inequalities in the recognition and treatment of eating disorders in non-white, non-cisgendered female individuals. Our team are passionate about providing fair and equal care for all of our patients, and paying particular attention to experiences of marginalisation.
We accept referrals from physical and mental health professionals. We do not currently accept self-referrals.
