What Our Clients Say
“It has been a great experience for me, everything went smoothly, and I felt the one-to-one contact was very helpful.”
“When you come here you believe that you are able to get better.”
“Telephone therapy has been so much more helpful than I could have imagined as it allows you to feel safe in your own space when discussing difficult things. I have opened up much more than I would if I was in the same room as a therapist.”
“My therapist was very easy to talk to – empathy in abundance.”
“They made me feel relaxed and very comfortable in talking about my problems.”
“I have enjoyed being able to ‘vent my spleen’ to someone other than family. My counsellor listened to me and made logical comments to assist me dealing with my issues.”
“I have seen other therapists in the past, but E has been the only one to help me change. I’m very grateful and feel completely different after our sessions.”
“I am eternally grateful and there is nothing I would do to improve the services.”
“I could not have done it without my therapist.”
“I think it is a great service. I am very thankful for everything you have done for me.”
“[I was supported as a carer and] someone who was lost and at breaking point. This service allowed and encouraged me to care for myself more and not just look at everything in terms of what the sufferer needs.”
“Excellent service. Wish I had done it years ago.”
“Thank you! You really helped me.”
“My therapist was very understanding with brilliant ideas, also the room the sessions were held in was very homely and had a good atmosphere.”
“Friendly staff… amazing. Very understanding with no judgement.”
“I just want to say thank you for helping me save my life. I don’t want to think about where I’d be without Oakwood’s help, so thank you!!”
“I thought the service was excellent. I felt my therapist really cared for me and I didn’t feel at all judged for what I was going through, allowing me to be really honest.”
“This experience has been incredibly helpful to me, physically, emotionally and mentally. I have felt very understood and relaxed about opening up about my issues… I think the fact that you can also have your appointment on the phone to be very useful and helpful too.”
“The counselling sessions have been initially difficult but ultimately very rewarding. It’s not easy looking at yourself in the mirror and accepting what you see.”
My therapist was very good. I have only achieved what I have achieved with her. I have never managed to get to this point in the past so I can honestly say I have no need to state improvements. I was fully happy with the service I received and ever so grateful. She is a credit to your company and very good at what she does. Thank you.
There’s nothing to improve as they are very helpful with there work and they are all welcoming people. Thank you to all.
This service has been the best thing ever to help me and has changed my life for the better. [My therapist] helped me overcome my disorder and thanks to her help, support and friendly understanding approach I feel ready to be discharged. Thank you!!
Oakwood is an amazing service. But clients need to be fully engaged on recovery for the help to work. Also the right therapist has to be correct for the client. As in the past my recovery was hindered from this. But [my therapist] has been fantastic.
I have had a really positive experience. I have felt very comfortable in therapy even when the subject itself was uncomfortable. I also always felt very welcomed by all the staff in reception and ab very grateful for the opportunity to make use of the Meet to Eat facilities. Here I have overcome a lot of fears and also been able to develop myself and allow myself to truly benefit from the service as I was made to feel very at home here whilst still being pushed to work on myself.
I found the people in here are brilliant and very helpful. I couldn’t have done it without their help. I’m very grateful and I’m going to miss them all. I would recommend this service to anyone who needs the help. I’m very grateful for this service and the staff are all amazing.
Very quick to be seen to. Having seen other counsellors before Oakwood Group, I can say that the service here was first class and bespoke to my individual needs. I felt understood and listened to.
I feel it has been a positive process for me to gradually accept my situation and come to terms with my body shape and weight at this time.
