This evidence-based 12 week cognitive behaviour therapy programme will help you understand and regain control over your eating patterns. Core principles include improving self-awareness; establishing regular eating and other techniques for avoiding binge eating; and developing self-worth.The course will be based around required reading (Overcoming Binge Eating, 2nd Edition, Christopher Fairburn (2013)) and homework.
An initial consultation is required (£50) so we can determine if the Help Yourself Course is right for your situation.

The course definitely helped me to understand the eating disorder and realise the reasons behind my behaviour. It also gave me coping mechanisms to start to make changes and to try to deal with the anxiety I was experiencing. I have started to make the changes I hoped for, and I’ve been given the tools to continue making those changes. By connecting to the Recovery Record app, my therapist was able to see when I was having a particularly hard time and offer specific feedback and suggestions on how to manage the situation, and that was invaluable support. Even though the sessions were delivered via Zoom, the programme was extremely helpful and I felt able to participate fully.
