Work experience

I have been working for 10 years as an adult and children’s counsellor, and as a CBT psychotherapist in a variety of settings, including GP surgeries, Occupational Health, university counselling, eating disorders, online with young people, in bereavement care, and in primary schools. I work for a number of EAP’s including BUPA and Aviva, and have worked in private practice.

I have a BPS-accredited Certificate in Supervision and offer supervision in CBT and counselling, as well as case management to students and trained therapists on placements at Oakwood House. Before this I was a nurse working with adults and children, and as a midwife in the NHS.

How I work

I provide both brief, problem-focused therapy or longer-term psychotherapy.
