Work experience

I previously worked for a women’s centre with women that have experienced domestic abuse, childhood abuse, bereavement and anxiety.

How I work

I see myself as an integrative counsellor with my roots in a person centred approach.  I believe in a collaborative way of working and value the therapeutic relationship as a facilitator of change and fundamental to utilising various modalities, including CBT.  I have a particular and growing interest in neuroscience and use this to inform my practice. I have always had an interest in helping people with eating disorders and so I have found my way to Oakwood Psychology Services.
