I am an Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a member of the Association for Counselling and Therapy Online (ACTO)
Before joining Oakwood in 2012 I was a counsellor for various services in Stockport. At Oakwood I work in the Community Eating Disorder Service and with other clients who are experiencing a wide variety of problems including anxiety and relationship issues. I am a trained online therapist and often deliver sessions via phone and internet as well as face-to-face. Other roles I have taken at Oakwood include wellbeing group facilitator and trainee case manager.
How I work
I work integratively and use CBT-E with clients who want to overcome eating disorders. I appreciate that each person is an individual who has a unique way of finding connection and making changes. I often work creatively and I like to believe my approach is relaxed, warm and welcoming.
