The Help Yourself Overcome Binge Eating course is a 12-week cognitive behaviour therapy guided self help group that helps participants follow and benefit from the leading therapy for binge eating and bulimia, detailed in Christopher Fairburn (2013) Overcoming Binge Eating (2nd Ed), Guilford.

The Help Yourself course runs weekly on Wednesdays on Zoom from 10 – 11:30am facilitated by Marie Mellor. Help Yourself aims to help participants establish regular eating patters to reduce or cease binge eating and any compensatory behaviour. It also helps with developing alternative ways of coping with urges to binge; problem solving, moving away from dieting lifestyles, and body image.
