We all have a ‘Body Story’; the way our bodies are treated, how we view them, how we learned what the ‘perfect body’ should be, and what our relationship with our own body looks like.

This four-week course is designed to help you to understand and improve your ‘body story’ and learn to accept yourself as you are, through exploring social influences on body image, caring for your body in a helpful way, and changing the way you think and talk about your body. The group is not suitable for people with severe mental health conditions or BMI < 19.

The course will be facilitated by Senior Psychological Therapist, Ellie Fretwell and will be held on Tuesdays 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd September 2020 from 11am – 1pm at Walthew House.

Unfortunately this course has already started, however you can book now for the next course that will be held in March 2021.
