I am a Chartered HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist, a BACP accredited counsellor, a UKCP-registered Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist. I am also accredited by the BABCP in CBT.
Work history
I have worked with Oakwood Psychology Services since 2009. I have also worked as an adult and children’s counsellor and CBT therapist across various settings including University counselling, Cruse bereavement care, GP surgeries, occupational health, Survivors Manchester, Kooth, and in private practice. I am also a qualified clinical supervisor, and support trainee and qualified therapists in their practice.
I formerly worked as a nurse with adults and children, and as a midwife in the NHS.
My approach
After discussing your goals in counselling, we will agree how to work together to achieve these. I believe in the primacy of the therapeutic relationship within a framework of transparency and trust.
