Since opening in 1992 we have established a strong reputation and helped thousands of people. We specialize in cost-effective community-based care in Greater Manchester and the North West of England, serving NHS and private clients. Our dedicated team delivers knowledgeable, effective programmes to assist people in moving towards emotional and physical wellbeing. We use a variety of personally tailored psychological approaches including cognitive behaviour therapy, integrative psychotherapy and person-centred counselling; as well as drama therapy and other creative arts therapies.

Our private Counselling Service in Stockport assists individuals and families with a range of issues and is accessed by self referral. Therapy is offered in-person as well as via telephone, email and instant chat (by appointment only).

The NHS Stockport Community Eating Disorder Service accepts referrals from Stockport CCG GPs.

The NHS Stockport Specialist Weight Management support accepts referrals from the Stockport Weight Management Team via GP referral.

The NHS Manchester, Salford, Oldham and Blackpool Specialist Weight Management psychological therapies are accessed via GP referral to Choose to Change www.choose-to-change.co.uk. Clients are seen in a wide choice of venues throughout the region.
